Debian package installation

  • Download a release file.

  • Using the terminal go to the directory containing the file and type: sudo dpkg -i <emount release file>

  • To uninstall the package, type: sudo dpkg -r emount

RPM package installation

  • Download a release file.

  • Using the terminal go to the directory containing the file and type: sudo rpm -ivh <emount release file>

  • To uninstall the package, type: sudo rpm -e emount

Installation from source

  • Download and extract a release file.

  • Using the terminal go to the extracted directory and type: ./configure, make, sudo make install

  • To uninstall the package, type: sudo make uninstall

Execute

  • Main Menu > System Tools > eMount (super user)

  • From terminal: emount --help
